‘Comment débrouillons-nous pendant l’épidémie de COVID19?’ (How are we managing ourselves during COVID19 pandemic?)

During the ‘Continuous Learning Plan’ (CLP) this term, the Year 10 French students have studied about COVID19 in French, including analysing infographics about COVID19 from the French government and watching French news on this topic.

During the ‘Continuous Learning Plan’ (CLP) this term, the Year 10 French students have been studying about COVID-19 in French, including analysing infographics about COVID-19 from the French government, and watching French news on this topic.  

Students were thereafter required to write a fictitious letter in French to their friend in France (or a French-speaking country), where they recounted how they and their loved ones have been coping with COVID-19 (by using various reflexive verbs in French, such as walking their dogs, etc).  

In their letter, our students also asked their friend how they have been coping, and including intercultural information about how French (or Francophone) citizens have been assisting each other during COVID19 (based on news reported in the French media studied in class).  Likewise, our students have provided information about how Australians have been helping each other during COVID19.
