Staffing News – Farewell Noeleen Martin

Following 17 years of unparalleled service to Minimbah and Woodleigh School, Noeleen Martin will retire towards the end of Term 3. Noeleen is a highly dedicated and much-loved educator. Her talents and passion for nature and mindfulness, as well as her connection with her students, will be just a tiny part of the legacy she leaves as she moves into a new phase of her life; retirement! Noeleen will conclude her teaching career with us on Friday, 27 August. Noeleen began teaching at Minimbah as one of our regular casual relief teachers and covered several teaching roles when other staff took their long service leave. In time, she was appointed to an ongoing position in the school and established herself as a much-respected member of the Minimbah Team. Her genuine interest in nature saw her introduce several key activities to the children’s program; she was instrumental in re-shaping the Year 2 Sleepover to include the much-loved bushwalk. All children throughout the years in Noeleen’s care have benefited from her gentle and caring approaches. I am sure you join me in wishing her every success in retirement.
