Travelling on Woodleigh School’s Non-Contract Myki Buses
All Woodleigh School students travelling on these buses must have a valid myki card. Students 17 and over are also required to carry a valid VPT School Student Id card or government-issued proof of age (i.e., Driver licence, learners permit) to travel. The student must touch on with a valid myki when boarding. Fare evasion is a serious offence and can incur substantial fines.
Noncompliance could also result in these buses' service being withdrawn by PTV (Public Transport Victoria).
More information and application forms are available on the PTV website http://ptv.vic.gov.au/tickets/concessions/students/
Please adhere to the current PTV COVID-19 guidelines to keep students safe as they travel.
- Practise good hygiene, including using hand sanitiser and coughing into their elbow
- Maintain physical distance from others when they can
- Wear a face mask (if over 12 years old)
- Stay home if they are unwell
Please note that Ventura Bus Lines have given pickup times as approximates only, so students need to be at their stop at least 5 minutes before the pickup time listed on the timetable.
To help Bus Drivers distinguish between Woodleigh School students and the general public, the Bus Lines recommend our students flag their bus down in the morning.
