DISCOVERING A WORLD OF SPORT

Minimbah Sport

During Term 2, students in Years 3 – 6 have been undertaking skill sessions followed by game practice in the following Invasive sports – Basketball, European Handball, Soccer, Dodge Ball and Gaelic Football. Using their School Teams, they have been playing a weekly intra-school competition for the last six weeks, followed by two weeks of finals. It has been great to see so many Year 6 students refereeing confidently for the Years 3 & 4s during their allotted sport session on a Friday afternoon.

Students in Years 2, 1, Foundation, ECC3 and 4 have been discovering the world of Obstacle Courses when they come to the gym. It is a fun and challenging activity that the students enjoy, so much so that they ask if they can do it every session!
